A Comic Where Survival Hinges on a Razor's Edge

The title of the comic book itself "Never Get Comfortable" is a gut punch. It whispers of a world where contentment is a death sentence. And that, my friends, is exactly the world Robert Norris throws us into with his fascinating new graphic novel, ZXT- Never Get Comfortable. Buckle up because this isn't your average zombie apocalypse. This is a twisted tale of humanities desperate struggle for survival in a world staggering on the edge.

Book 1 of this three-part saga kicks off about 10 years after the beginning of the ZXT program. New Haven is celebrating the safety, security and potential expansion of there salvaged city. Little do they know, the very next morning would introduce a dark threat from their past that brings enough force to undo everything New Haven has worked for.

Jordan, Noble and the rest of the ZXTs are thrown into action with little to no answers about the new threat, which turns out to be an old threat with an undead chip on his undead shoulder. Jordan’s former lab partner Nayak jumps on the scene with an agenda that is about a little bit more than revenge.

Noble and the ZXTs are forced to play offense, defense and execute a rescue mission, when no less than 24 hours prior they were partying. Can humanity turn the tide quick enough? Or will they get steamrolled back into survival mode?

The Art of Unease

The artwork in ZXT- Never Get Comfortable, penciled and inked by Ben Worrell deserves its own applause. The characters are gritty and expressive, their faces etched with fear, determination, and even a touch of madness. The zombies are truly horrifying; their dreadful forms are a constant reminder of the threat looming around every corner. The action sequences are gut-wrenching and pulse-pounding, leaving readers breathless with each turn of the page.
